This was a personal favorite; Amy was my mission companion in Nauvoo and she married a true gem! A modern-day Brady Bunch, they both have three kids, making 6 total. Woa! Amy wanted something simple, elegant, with Yellow and Gray. Here are a few pics I snapped with my phone as I was making them:
The roses I initally bought were much too bright so this is acutally PAINTED white flowers! I love the paint they make for flowers....it covers very translucent so you can still see the details of the flower and my favorite part is that the roses still smelled gorgeous.
Here's how the day looked. Amy's friend, Kara Allen, party planner and hostess extraordinaire, did all the decor. I love that this was "low key" for her. Child knows how to dress up a cultural hall on no budget! It's a good thing we love Amy or we both would've thrown a mutiny for having to use the cultural hall.
Cupcakes were used as decor: cute AND delicious!
Arrangements mirrored the brides' bouquet and you can't see them well, but the pots were a shiny silver-colored gardening pot.
Vintage Chic!
Lace & Burlap = Feminine and Earthy
And of course, the bride and groom are absolutely darling. Among the six kids, there is only ONE girl with FIVE boys, so Jade held down the flower girl post with style.
Just before their nuptuals...Amy was already tearing up!
The bouqet consisted of hydrangeas, a large succlent, dusty miler, freesia, roses, and a few billy balls. I like keeping the bridal bouquet very clean and simple beause I think it makes it stand out.
Jade's bouquet added some scabiosa pod and pink stock to give the hint of champagne tones.
Two of the most positive, happy people in the world, I think!
Congrats you crazy kids!
